It is not the law that new construction be pretreated. However, if you decide on termite control, according to State Law, and the Federal EPA, it must be done according to label specifications.

Label Specifications include:
Main Slab/Foundation - Sidewalks - Carports - Garages - Entries Entrances - Patios - RV Pads - Utility Platforms
(All areas to be poured which abut the main slab)

Label specifications also require us to perform a chemical application to the exterior of the home (outside footing) upon final grade.
